Alex Clare sails into Top 100 Electronic after MS IE 9 Commercial
Here’s an example of where sync has worked really well. Microsoft featuring Alex Clare’s track “Too Close” on their latest Internet Explorer 9 commercial has propelled the musician from an average of 100 or so new fans per day to way over 3000 new fans per day on social media sites, breaking past the Top 100 Electronic benchmark along the way.
The instrumental version of the track has recently been picked up as the backing music to the UK commercial for the TV show Revenge, driving the fan activity even higher in the last month.
