Different event types can be hidden from the Events Ribbon. The screenshot below shows a view with all types visible:

Using the drop-down selector, you can choose to view a specific category of event. Here, we can see artist release events:

Filtering is a useful way to quickly find a particular event, or to view a timeline of key releases for your artist – especially if the artist has a long list of entries in the panel.
